Lightning Protection

Not much is more dangerous, powerful and destructive to a lift's electrical system than lightning. We offer a variety of solutions to protect against lightning whether the system is active or not. All our lightning protection offers multiple layers of protection through resistors, trans-orbs, and poly-switches. This allows for not only realiable operation and protection but also makes for a system that is self resetting, maintenance and worry free. Take a look at our various lightning solutions and help prevent unwanted equipment failure from nature's greatest electrical weapon.
Comline Termination Board/ Lightning Protection

Our Comline Termination Board enables a neat and proper termination for each and every pair of the comline. Making sure that all pairs are properly terminated is imperative to protecting the lift equipment from lightning or other problems that can come back down the comline. Everything is clearly labeled and there is a schematic that explains exactly what is being used on the board for lightning protection. Utilizing a resistor, poly-switch, trans-orb,gas discharge tube and fuse these boards offer the best lightning protection on the market, in use they have worked flawlessly in protecting the lift equipment in the motor room and shack from any problems the com-line might face.
This board is magnetically mounted enabling easy installation and has quick connectors on each side easing installation and troubleshooting.

Proxy Safe

Proxy Safe is a simple module that hooks inline in front of Doppelmayr Proximity sensors to protect high risk areas from lightning strikes. These modules protect the sensors when the tower system is on or off. In on lift testing they have worked brilliantly and prevented countless proxy sensors from being destroyed by lightning. Their simple design, including a magnetic mounting system make installation a no tools job, simply unplug the proxy sensor from the tower cable and hook the module in between the two using the standard style 4 prong connectors.
