EMAX Lift Interface

Emax is the premiere in lift interface/low voltage controls for all types and manufacture of lifts. It's modular design, straight forward troubleshooting, and robust design makes for an incredibly reliable system. Don't let the ease of use fool you, it's capabilities as a flexible and adaptable system is unsurpassed. DC or AC, regenerative or non regenerative drive, the highly adaptable design allows for one standard system across any lift, in any configuration.
This system was designed by Ed Thompson and Bud Fischer. Together they have over 50 years in the ski industry. They have been involved in design, fabrication and installation of electrical systems, as well as maintenance, operation, and service of lifts of all types.

Why Lift Interface?
Because that’s what all such systems really are – an interface between a motor and the ropeway it’s connected to. It is here that all pertinent electrical information enters from operators and sensors - and exits toward the various (generic) controlled devices. The lift, when taken as a whole, is what constitutes a system -the electrical portion of this machine is but a subsystem… though an important one. Unfortunately, the moment-to-moment workings of an electric control are largely invisible to most people – making it their least favorite lift component. Our goal is to improve on this perception through logical layout, clear identification of components and signals and a liberal display of to-the-point information for the user… because what we’re calling a Lift Interface is also a user interface.
