Features:

The E-max system is modular in design eliminating most of the wiring normally associated with modern control systems. Modules are connected to the PLCs and I/O terminals via quick disconnect cables simplifying troubleshooting and repair.
The E-Max uses 2 Programmable Logic Controllers in that simultaneously monitor all safety circuits lift speed, ramp times, drive or aux status and direction.
The PLCs connect to a color touch screen which displays speed, load, and status of all lift systems.
Bypass of safety circuits is allowed through password protected touch buttons eliminating unauthorized bypass and any need for jumpers.

System tests are available via the service screen and all test instructions are displayed in each test screen, eliminating need for written procedures.
Dynamic brake testing is fully automated, start the lift and push the brake test button. Motor current and speed are measured and the results displayed at the conclusion of the test.
All external signals connect to input relay modules that split the signals, and connect via cables to both PLCs. Input relay modules have status led’s incorporated with a legend for easy identification of all safety circuits.
A series loop of safety circuits is integrated in the relay modules to improve safety in evac operation.
All PLC outputs connect to an output relay module via cables to control drive, aux, and brake operations. Both PLCs must agree to enable control relays.
Lift speed, accel, decel, and direction are monitored by a bullwheel tachometer connected to PLC A. Redundant monitoring is done in PLC B from a speed signal generated by an encoder on the electric motor.
A modular phone system is used for the lift intercom system. It uses standard analog telephones in a ring-down configuration. The lift intercom system is powered by the control battery. Cordless phones can be used with this system easing communication to loading operators.
A 25 pair lightning suppression system is provided for com line termination. Integrated entrance relays disconnect the com line from the control system when the system is off, and ground conductors to minimize induced voltages on the com line.
A return station push button station and com line termination with gas tube protection is included.
A 24 volt power supply and gel cell batteries are included. Charger function and battery voltage are monitored by the PLC.
Tower circuits can accommodate any switch or configuration. Fuses are provided for each tower circuit and can be located at either terminal. Drive terminal fusing requires 1 pair per tower, return terminal fusing only needs 1 wire per tower + 2 pairs for power feed.
A chair marking system sounds an alarm upon arrival of marked carrier at the opposite station. Start warning horns activate before the lift is moving.
Start up is included less travel and expenses.
ABB drives integrate directly to the low voltage eliminating duplicate circuitry. Drive status and output is displayed on the touch screen.
Pushbutton stations, aux controllers, brake systems, tension systems, and virtually any custom products are available.
Spare parts packages are available and are discounted if ordered with the system.
A 1 year parts and labor warranty on all E-Max components is standard. Extended warranty and service contracts are also available.
Service is available 24/7 during the ski season, and regular business hours for the remainder of the year. Parts can be shipped, usually within 24 hours.
Installation is available for all systems. We will gladly assist customers installing systems in house.
